[Grimm won't have to wait very long for Danny's arrival. It's only about 10, maybe 15 minutes at most when there's a knock at the other man's door, and opening it will reveal Danny standing on the other side waiting to be let in.

And the moment he is indeed allowed to come in, the very first thing he does is reach out to touch the side or Grimm's face, leaning in so that he can kiss him immediately in lieu of starting with a hello or the like in greeting.]

[Kissing is as good a greeting as any - no, it's better than most. Grimm returns the kiss, drawing Danny inside with a hand on his back and a wing curled around him.

He pulls back after they're inside.]

I have missed you.

[doctorize]

I have missed you as well.

[He says, a little breathless for a moment after they kiss, but his words are no doubt genuine.]

I'm sorry for being away for a while. I'd like to make it up to you, if that's alright.

[hagrides]

There is no need to apologize - but if you insist.

[He isn't so selfless that he isn't interested in what Danny means by 'making it up to him'.]

[At that, Danny smiles, and starts to guide Grimm toward his couch, before he stops and seems to think better of it, looking in the direction of where Lobco's room is.]

Lobco isn't here right now, is she?

[Because if she is, then they are definitely moving this to the bedroom rather than Danny attempting to blow (ha) Grimm's mind with what he wants to do here in the living room.]

[Oh, so it's that kind of making it up to him.]

She is, I'm afraid.

[doctorize]

... In that case, maybe it would be best to go to your room instead.

[Danny may be thirsty here but at least his priorities are still intact in that regard.]

[Oh, you. Grimm nods, and promptly scoops Danny up in his arms to carry him to his room.

He still thinks Danny has a strength kink and not a murder kink, it's fine.]

Danny is also apparently not going to get tired of getting carried anytime soon because damn okay, that is impressive strength and he likes it. In fact, he hooks his arms around Grimm's neck to have a secure hold here and move his legs so that they don't accidentally hit anything in the hallway.

Once he has been deposited on the the bed and has taken a second to tug his shoes and socks to shove aside though, Danny gives a gentle nudge to maneuver themselves so that Grimm is the one lying down here with Danny hovering over him.

However, he doesn't do anything just yet, other than rather gently tracing his fingers over the facial scars, and then further down his face. His smile is almost apologetic at his rather minimal touching here.]

Sorry, I just wanted to look at you for a moment first. Is that alright?

Of course, my beloved. As long as I can look at you as well.

[His boyfriend is so cute. He brushes his hand through Danny's hair and cups his cheek.]

[Danny leans into the touch, smile becoming more soft and genuine. That certainly does something to inspire feelings of happiness, hearing that Grimm actually wants to look at him here when he can't even stand looking at himself in comparison.]

You've probably told me before already, but what is it about me that you like looking at the most?

Most of all the wonderful things about you? Your smile.

[Grimm traces his thumb over the corner of Danny's upturned lips.]

Is that right?

[His lips move against the other's thumb, and Danny ends up copying the gesture as he brings his hand up to bring his own thumb against the corner of Grimm's mouth as well when he speaks.]

Yours is wonderful to look at as well. I can always tell that they're genuine when I see you doing so.

[Certainly more genuine than his own usually are.]

You make me smile so.

[Grimm leans in and kisses him softly for a moment.]

[Danny kisses him back, before he pulls away a little, his hands sliding up back to Grimm's facial scars to press his fingers against before one of his hands lies flat, covering Grimm's right eye underneath his palm. He considers the view for a moment before he speaks, an idea coming to mind.]

This may sound like a strange question, but would you be interested in trying something a little different this time?

If you like. I am entirely at your disposal.

[Trying new things is fun and healthy. Grimm's pretty sure that most couples try new things sometimes.]

[That is probably a very dangerous thing to say to someone like Danny in any other context, but he simply smiles as he considers how to go about doing this idea of his. He then gets the idea to use his own tie here, pulling it free from his neck before he gently lifts it up to put over Grimm's eyes. It's a loose knot, easy for Grimm to remove if he changes his mind on this, but otherwise that seems to be all Danny does here before he speaks again.]

Are you still able to see right now with that on?

[If yes, then he'll have to adjust it... or ask Grimm to humor him here if its god reasons why a blindfold doesn't work on him or something.]

Not see as such, no. I can still sense the presence of your soul, but that is not so precise as to be able to know exactly what you are doing.

[So it should be fine, right? Right.]

[That gets a slight pause from him momentarily, and maybe hes glad now that Grimm can't see what kind of face he's making at hearing that.]

You can "sense my soul"?

[Danny didn't even think he had one??]

How does that work?

How would you explain how sight worked to someone who had none?

[He loves you and all but he can't really explain his senses-]

... I would probably get someone else to explain it for me to be honest, given that I only have one working eye and thus only know half the experience.

I imagine they would also find it difficult to explain to someone with no concept of 'sight'. Just as I cannot explain a sense you do not have to you.

I guess that's fair. I was just... surprised to hear that, is all.

[And in some ways maybe that's a good thing that Grimm can't explain it, even if Danny wonders if a person's soul can give away how much of a fucked up person they are due to being pitch black or nonexistent like he had thought his was. But maybe it's better to live in blissful ignorance instead, and... not think about his possible soul-based flaws right when he was about to blow (ha) Grimm's mind here.]

Pay no mind to it. I promise that all your secrets are safe, until you choose to share them of your own will.

[Based on the things Rachel said back there, he can kind of guess at why Danny might be concerned. But being able to see Danny's soul doesn't tell him when he's lying to him or not.]

[Suddenly he is now very glad Grimm is blindfolded so that he didn't see what kind of face he made at being read easily like that regarding what his concern was here.

But, now he's ready to move on to better things, such as moving his hands again, carefully sliding them over the blindfold to make sure its flat and even, before slowly trailing his hands down the other's face and his fingers against the corners of Grimm's mouth again. For once his attention is not on Grimm's eyes first, instead watching to see how he reacts to the gentle prodding here while his eyes are covered.]
