[Hubert is - as always - dedicated to learning as much as he can about this world. So with the opening of the Inari Highway, it's not surprising that he'd end up here. He's been sticking to the shadows as much as possible, keeping away from most of the others as he watches and learns, gathering any and all information he can.
But naturally, Hubert isn't going to be left alone forever, and some very friendly and pushy people pretty quickly rope him into one of those get-along shirts and Hubert is left wondering how exactly his life got to this point. Why is it that ridiculous things always happen to him. He doesn't deserve this.
